He first trained as a teacher at the Normal School in Truro, Nova Scotia, and taught for several years. WebTwelve years later in 1953, the centennial year of St. F.X., Father Jimmy died. In 1959, Dr Moses M. Coady and Billy Tom Feltmate died. In that same year, the Coady International Institute was founded, designed to foster self-help and co-operation beyond Canada, training leaders at a grass-roots level all over the world.
